What is Easy CPF?
Easy CPF is a service specialized in helping foreigners and Brazilians living abroad to request, update, or retrieve a CPF directly from the Brazilian Government.
We act as facilitators: we organize your documents, submit them to the Government, and monitor the entire process.
Who can request a CPF through Easy CPF?
Anyone not currently living in Brazil can request a CPF using Easy CPF, including:
- Foreigners with no Brazilian nationality
- Brazilians living abroad
- Children, teenagers, and adults
- People without a Brazilian ID or without a birth certificate available
What documents are required to request a CPF?
Many people ask us: “Do I need a birth certificate?” — and the answer is: in most cases, no.
Usually, you only need:
- Passport (photo page and selfie)
- Additional document (only if the Brazilian government requires it)
The birth certificate is only required in rare situations when Receita Federal asks for extra verification.
How long does it take to receive my CPF?
The average processing time is:
3 to 10 business days, depending on the government’s analysis and weekly demand.
We will always update you by email as soon as there is movement in your case.
How do I know my request has been submitted to the Government?
As soon as we process your application:
- We send you an email confirming that your request is officially with the Brazilian Government.
- You will also receive notifications when it is approved, when there are pending documents, or when it is completed.
Is it safe to request a CPF through Easy CPF?
Yes. We use secure systems, never ask for unnecessary information, and follow all requirements from Receita Federal.
You will always receive a valid submission protocol number.
How much does it cost to request a CPF through Easy CPF?
The price may vary depending on:
- Type of request (new CPF, update, correction)
- Your country of residence
All prices are displayed during checkout before payment.
Can a foreigner access gov.br using the newly issued CPF?
Yes!
With an active CPF, any foreigner can create a gov.br account and access:
- Judiciary services
- Health services
- Receita Federal (Brazilian IRS)
- Many other government digital platforms
This is one of the main reasons foreigners apply for a CPF.
Can I use my CPF in Brazil even if I live abroad?
Yes.
The CPF is a universal identification number, allowing you to:
- Open a bank account
- Buy property
- Invest in Brazil
- Sign contracts
- Apply for a driver’s license (in some cases)
- Access government services
Do I need to be in Brazil to request a CPF?
No.
Easy CPF was created specifically so people living abroad can apply without traveling, visiting a consulate, or dealing with Brazilian bureaucracy.
What happens if the Government requests additional documents?
This may happen in specific cases.
If it does:
- We will email you explaining exactly what was requested
- We will help you provide the correct document
- And we will continue monitoring your case until it is approved
Is Easy CPF responsible for issuing the CPF?
We do not issue the CPF.
The CPF is issued only by the Brazilian Federal Revenue (Receita Federal).
Our role is to simplify the process, review your documents, submit everything correctly, and follow up until completion.
How will I receive my CPF number?
As soon as Receita Federal approves your request:
- You will receive your CPF number by email.
- We will also send instructions on how to download your official digital receipt from the government’s website.
Can I request a CPF for my child?
Yes.
You only need to provide:
- The child’s passport
- A document from the legal guardian
This is very common for families traveling, studying, or moving to Brazil.
